The University of Wisconsin School of Medicine offers innovative research programs in both clinical and basic science address a variety of problems focusing on targets and agents for cancer chemoprevention and treatment, molecular mechanisms of cancer development, and molecular diagnosis of skin diseases.

Their educational programs reach practicing physicians in the local community and across the region, train dermatology residents in two distinct programs, and introduce medical students to dermatology. The University also offer a Mohs surgery fellowship.
