The mission of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center's Department of Dermatology is to provide an environment and tools that promote the accomplishment of the following goals:
To provide comprehensive dermatological care for patients with skin disease, to increase our understanding of normal and pathological processes in skin, and to facilitate the growth of individuals, including medical students, resident physicians in dermatology and other specialties, research fellows, junior faculty and staff personnel within the department.
