The Department of Dermatology at UC Irvine's School of Medicine is committed to advancing clinical care, education and research to help patients with diverse dermatological conditions.

The department's faculty is dedicated to preparing medical students and residents for careers in private practice and academia. Their educational program is designed to help residents and fellows treat the gamut of dermatologic conditions with conventional and ground breaking therapies, and to conduct sophisticated clinical development programs from basic pharmaceutical studies to phase III clinical trials.
