In the Indiana Department of Dermatology, residents take the In-Training Dermatology Examination each Spring. This examination is sponsored by the American Board of Dermatology and administered within the Department of Dermatology. It is intended to test the fund of knowledge and help the resident and Program Director assess progress within the residency program.

Teaching of dermatology continues to be a vibrant, well-developed and exciting discipline at Indiana University. The faculty has a wide range of interests. The Department has been recognized for its efforts and its faculty has been honored by many awards.
