Duke University School of Medicine Department of Dermatology

On July 1, 2009, the Duke University School of Medicine created the Department of Dermatology, the first new clinical department created at Duke since 1991.

The Duke dermatology residency is a fully accredited three-year training program approved by the American Board of Dermatology. Upon successful completion of this training program, the candidate is eligible for examination leading to certification by the American Board of Dermatology.
