The Dermatology Department seeks to deliver outstandint care to patients. It has particularly strong sections of dermopathology and clinical dermatology along with special clinical emphasis on pediatric dermatology.
The goals of the Department of Dermatology are to teach basic and advanced clinical dermatologic diagnosis and therapy to medical students, dermatology residents, residents from other specialties and physicians in practice in a competent, conscientious, ethical and cost-effective fashion; and to conduct clinical and basic science research on skin disease.
