The Department's efforts span basic biology of the skin, mechanisms of clinical disease, human in vivo skin function, clinical trials, premier patient care, and teaching. They offer specialty programs for rare diseases as well as excellent general dermatology.

The Department of Dermatology works in conjunction with the University Hospitals of Cleveland and Hospitals Case Medical Center.
