The Department of Dermatology cares for adult patients with diseases of the skin, including skin cancers, immune and allergic processes, and diseases of other organ systems with skin manifestations.
The Department of Dermatology focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases but is also a site for research. It is the home of the National Institutes of Health supported Harvard Skin Disease Research Center which fosters investigative collaboration between dermatologists and biomedical scientists.
