American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery

The American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery is dedicated to the promotion of research, education, and high standards in clinical care in the use of medical laser applications.

Drawing members from a broad base including both medical professionals who use lasers to treat patients, as well as the physicists, biologists, and biomedical engineers who develop the lasers, the Society fosters interdisciplinary working towards that end.
