American Dermatological Association

The American Dermatological Association(ADA) was the first national Dermatological society in the United States. The first meeting, in 1877, established that the purpose of the society was to promote the study of dermatology. In 1957 the American Dermatological Association Research and Education Fund was established to provide funding for and to promote research.
